EXTERIOR PAINTING · COSTA DEL SOL
Exterior painting in Marbella and the Costa del Sol.
Our painting team works on villa facades, exterior walls and the details around your home. Every project starts with the existing surface: what is sound, what needs preparation and how it can be reached. Tell us about your property so we can establish the work to include in a written quote.

Define exactly what is included
A facade project can include several different surfaces. Main elevations, terrace walls, boundary walls, soffits, columns, railings and timber each need to be identified. Photograph each side and any details you would like included.
For an initial estimate, use the area of the surfaces to be painted. A property's floor area does not describe its facade. Where measurements are uncertain, a visit can establish the scope before a firm quote is agreed.
Give preparation its own place in the plan
Peeling paint, powdery coatings, cracks, stains and damp can change the preparation required. Share close-up photographs alongside wider views so the affected area is clear. An inspection may be needed to understand what photographs cannot show.
The proposed scope should distinguish cleaning, removal of loose material, filling and priming. Recurring moisture or significant movement may need separate investigation or repair before a coating is selected. Any additional work belongs in an agreed written item.
Plan around the property
Height, slopes, terraces, planting and neighbouring property affect access and protection. Tell us about narrow entrances, parking, community rules and permitted working hours. The access method and any equipment costs need to be clear in the quote.
- Mark the glazing, paving, furniture and plants that need protection.
- Identify any shared areas or access that require coordination.
- Flag dates when the property must remain available to residents or guests.
Choose the finish for the actual conditions
The existing coating, substrate, exposure and chosen colour all matter when discussing a paint system. Agree the product, primer where required, colour reference and finish using the manufacturer's guidance. A physical sample at the property is more useful than a screen colour alone.
Exterior timing also depends on suitable application conditions and drying between coats. Discuss sun exposure, rain risk and the product's requirements before fixing the work sequence.
A written scope from preparation to handover
The website calculator offers an initial indication. Your written quote should confirm the measured areas, preparation, materials, access, protection, exclusions, tax treatment and agreed timing. Include how changes will be approved and how the completed work will be reviewed.
Questions before you start
Can you quote from photographs?
Photographs help establish the initial scope. Height, access and uncertain surface condition may require a visit before a firm price can be agreed. Send both complete elevations and close-ups of problem areas.
Are garden walls and railings included?
Include them in your enquiry if you want them painted. They should appear as explicit items in the quote, with the relevant preparation and finish.
Can I keep the same exterior colour?
Yes, tell us the existing colour reference if you have it. Weathering can affect the apparent colour, so discuss a physical sample and any community requirements before ordering paint.
Tell us what needs painting
Send your town, photographs of each elevation, any known surface problems and the dates you have in mind.
